As the city that brought paella to the world, Valencia is a culinary delight. Sipping fresh, local orange juice, whilst enjoying tasty tapas in a pavement café, is not to be missed.
Wandering this relaxed city is like taking a walk through history. From the Roman remains in the archaeological museum to the futuristic City of Arts and Sciences, the architecture ranges from the dramatic to the sublime. A mix of styles from the outside, medieval Valencia Cathedral comes into its own inside. The gilt carvings and vibrantly-painted dome are a sight to behold.
The greatest triumph of city planning is the Turia River Park. Created on the bed of a redirected river, it provides much-needed shade in a city with an impressive sunshine record. Of course, you can always cool down on the fantastic beaches, lapped by warm Mediterranean waters.
Former hosts of the European Grand Prix, Valencians take their sport seriously and so they should. Try to take in a match at the 75000-seater Valencia FC stadium to experience the electric atmosphere.
As Spain’s 3rd largest city, Valencia has wild nightlife, so if that’s your cup of tea, city centre hostels are a great choice. Alternatively, Booking.com also offers guest houses, central apartments and even hotels near Valencia Airport.
Valencia is charming, it has a nice relaxed feel about it.
Valencia is charming, it has a nice relaxed feel about it. The indoor market is a must, Cathedral is lovely and the Science park and Oceanografic is a must also. Beaches are a short distance with lots of restaurants. I would say it has everything you could wish for in a holiday

I’ve marked all wort to visit objects of València before arrival as the most tourist do. And skipped a lot of them. Let me explain.
The most of catholic churches look the same everywhere, “plaza” is an empty space unless filled with people and action. I’ve walked around old town for half a day blended in to the crowd, observing, listening, getting sense of interactions, mood and
building the sense of culture here.
But, futuristic looking Science Center with IMAX Hemisphere and Ocean Center are unique to València. Inspiring architecture, live and interesting experiences there contributed to overall picture of València and its heritage.
Please bear in mind that old riverbed with multiple parks and playa de la Malvarossa are another pieces not to be left out.
I’ve stopped at Granier for a cup of coffee Cortado. Unfortunately, as a solo traveler I couldn’t get a seat at the famous paella house La Pepica. Maybe next time.

Valencia is one of those rare cities where you can combine city centre sightseeing with a day or more at the beach.
We went to Madrid last October and Valencia is in my opinion less polished but perhaps that makes it more authentic. And Madrid doesn't have an enormous beach & marina does it?
The Metro is very easy to negotiate and cheap! 13 euros for unlimited 3 days of use.
Metro / tram stations are not as regular in the city centre as perhaps I'd have liked but the ticket covers the buses as well but we just walked a bit further
we did 4 days 3 nights but truth is we would happily have stayed longer
Certainly worth a visit

Fantastic city to visit.
Fantastic city to visit. The parks and gardens that cut through the city are wonderful to walk through - or ride a bike through. So much to see here - we walked to Mercado Central, Torres de Serranos, Font del Turia, Placa de la Reina, Placa Redonda and a local fiesta was on with locals dressed in traditional clothes. Had a wonderful day here. Unfortunately as it was a Monday some museums etc were closed but would happily return to visit the things we missed. Also of course the Aquarium and Science Park were very impressive - even just viewed from outside! Beautiful city both modern and historic and very easy to get around.

The place has been upgrade based on the surrounding buildings and a bit off the main tourist attractions. 10 minutes walk to the hop-on-hop-off bus pick up. The units are very clean except for an occasional drain pipe smell that can be alleviated by leaving the a/c on. Grocery stores are right outside the building and a money exchange and small department store, so you have access to the things you need. There are two Framacia in the neighborhood, so you are well accommodated. Very cute space with a small elevator for handicap accessibility.

From the apartment the center of valencia was accessible, we also visited Benidorm, denia, Torrevieja, Galp, Alicante and Mercia very easily by car. The attractions visited in Valencia were cathedral, historical buildings, oceánografic, arts & hemispheric buildings
The location was perfect for us, next to the towers, between the old city center and the park. It was our first visit to Valencia and we wanted a place which lent itself to walking. We also deeply appreciated the superb concierge service at the hotel. The staff was kind, extremely helpful and professional at each step of our short stay. They assisted us in securing dinner reservations at a very nice restaurant and directed us to the tram service to the beach, which was very convenient. The room itself was beautiful and amenities top notch.
Excellent location on the beach. Large, bright room. Good shower. Comfortable bed. The parking was great. The hotel say you can park on the street but that is aspirational. It is the free parking for the beach. You can double park on the quiet street, drop your bags and the hotel will give you a ticket for the underground parking very close. The lady at reception took lots of time to show me how to get into the parking, even though there were people waiting to check in, Very helpful service.
I am Pakistani, Professor here in Spain. I visited Valancia and stayed there at Limin hostal. I would say Limin provide a quaity residence to the visitors. It provide a wonderful staying facilities at low price. I recommend it to anyone for short or long stay with family and freinds. I will not forget the freindly reception staff, especially the indian guy and young girl on night shift. I will always choose this again whenever i visit Valancia.
Hotel Kramer thought of everything including a toothbrush. They had an on-site restaurant and the best breakfast we’ve had in Spain. The staff were friendly, and met requests within seconds including printing train tickets, and arranging an early morning cab. The staff spoke excellent English which was welcome( 3 months of Duo Lingo has its limits). The location was within walking distance of the Old City and all the sights we wanted to see
Its an amazing space, first hotel in Spain with a full bed, great TV service, the roof garden is great to relax or entertain and have some food or drinks, the full kitchen and washer machine help us to arrange the food and the clothes after 15 days in Spain, was a full relaxing experience, would definitely come back to this place with more time to fully enjoy, beach was an 8 minute walk and beautiful locations.
I arrived late, and though the reception was closed, I got a code for the outer door and my room. It was a perfect solution! Traditionally, I believe it is the best play to stay for workation travelers. I've got everything I need: a bedroom, a kitchen to cook, good wifi for work, a washing machine to wash my clothes. The hotel is close to Turia Park and the center of Valencia. Supermarkets are in 5 minutes.
Excellent wee boutique Hotel at the edge of Old Town and within walking distance of the sights, bars & restaurants. Tapas served in rooftop Terrace & was good value for money. Bar Staff had excellent customer service qualities. Beautiful view from rooftop Terrace. Hotel quirky and spotless & good value for money paid. Taxi ranks and bus stops close by.
Parking location was accessible directly from the Hotel and provided a secure garage for our car. Not cheap, but worth it.
Terrace rooftop bar was a great getaway spot in the evening and the limited menu was surprisingly good. The breakfast buffet is impressive but pricey if you only lean towards a small, continental type of breakfast like we do.
Location was excellent! The tram and metro are in front of the hotel. So in less then 15 minutes you are in the old centre or on the beach. Room is perfect for a city trip. Everyday cleaning and the beds were really comfy. Good price for the type of room/hotel that you get! Would recommend!
This is a beautiful hotel. The location is excellent, allowing an easy stroll through the Old Town. Lots of restaurants and boutique shops around. The staff were very friendly and helpful- best hospitality of the places we have had so far. The experience was very calming. Can recommend.
Beautiful hotel right in the middle of everything! The interiors are pretty, the room are spacious and clean, breakfast was amazing, the staff was friendly and always helpful. And you can't beat the position! I loved it and I will consider to book them also in other cities of Spain.
Beautiful new hotel in an old building. Large spacious room with full kitchen facilities and very comfortable. Right in the centre of Valencia close to the main market and near many of the famous sites. Surrounded by bars and restaurants.
Location is great and right on the beach and next to the strip of restaurants. Sabbia restaurant which I think is part of the hotel is fun in th evenings with live music and dancing which other restaurants don’t seem to have.
Great location and great staff, I forgot my phone charger at the hotel and the staff save it until I was able to come back to get it, everyone very friendly and in the location is the best, in the center of Valencia.
The staff were particularly friendly and the rooms were quite luxurious for a hotel that was cheaper than a Travelodge in London! Everything was immaculately clean and comfortable. I would definitely go back.
Great location. Amazing AC that was very welcome this time of the year in Spain. Very nice kitchen and well equipped. Excellent place for breakfast directly across the street.
A fantastic boutique hotel right on the beach. The rooms were comfortable, clean and modern, the staff was friendly and helpful, and there is literally nothing not to like.
very nice place to stay.
This is a break city for our road trip in Spain, so this apartment have everthing likes we live in own apartment in own country.
The location of this stylish boutique hotel is amazing! In the middle of the old town but peaceful and quiet. Super friendly staff! We will be back :-)
