This was the perfect stop over before heading to Bilbao Port.
The room was perfectly adequate, albeit a bit dated. But, perfectly clean. The staff were lovely and the food was good. A very good price, and we will definitely stay again.

Aranda De Duero is the capital of the Ribera Del Duero wine region. The city is small enough to be able to walk around with some free parking. In Aranda de Duero I wouLd visit the subterreanean winerys, they are wonderful, you can book this in calle Isilla in the Top Queens shop (Bodegas don Carlos)or online it is really worth it its unique. Then, a must is the Asador el Lagar which is just in front a little further up the street, Also if you like to walk you can do so on the banks of the Douro Just across the street.

Road outside hotel was under radical reconstruction during visit making it difficult to find the way in, but this was alleviated by helpful staff who enabled use of the available and free garage. Impression given that this was a hotel that has recently been thoroughly renovated and modernised; everything in good order.

The room was quiet (it looked into an inner courtyard). Bed was very comfortable. It came with a TV. The bathroom was adorned in beautiful marble. Shower was good. The heat, from the radiator in the bathroom, meant the place was always nice and warm and cozy. The towels were even soft and cuddly!! Although you can’t take your dog into the attractive gardens located at the hotel there are very pleasant walks across fields and farm land opposite. Dogs are allowed in the cafe which is an absolute bonus when travelling solo. Plenty of hot water and very comfortable bed. Very efficient and friendly staff.
