Room located on ground floor with lovely private terrace and enclosed lawn area so we could enjoy an evening drink in the sunshine. Great breakfast which was excellent value for money. Convenient garage parking at 9 euros a night which was a reasonable price. Close enough to the city center to enjoy an easy level walk to restaurants and all the attractions. Great walk up to the castle behind the hotel via a well paved pathway. We do hope the castle gets restored to it's former glory - lots of history here as with the monument outside the hotel to General Juan Martin Diez - the city needs to make more of both of these important historical attractions.

Nice hotel, located a bit off the center. Friendly staff.
The windows keep away the noise from the street below.
The hotel offers a garage, but I had luck with a parking space in front of the hotel (the street there a big "come-and-go-street" for cars).

Burgos was a great place, some historical Churches, the vibe of the city was great. Had to get our head around the restaurant opening and closing times, but once we knew it was alright. Yes I would recommend this city to friends.

Found a lovely place to eat Pinchos (tapas) very nice and not far from the hotel. The city is beautiful with so many buildings of architectural interest. Only staying one night whilst travelling through Spain was not enough time to appreciate everything the hotel had to offer.

We went to Burgos for the Cathedral and were not disappointed. The City centre is pedestrianised so it was easy to stroll around and find good tapas bars. There is a riverside park which must be lovely in the Summer.

Burgos is an historic city, still with lots of lovely buildings. It is quite small, so easy to get around. The centre is partly pedestrianised, has lots of restaurants, bars, squares and parks so is very tourist-friendly.
The cathedral is splendid but not really to my taste. The new Museum of the Evolution of Man shows off the recent local discoveries of prehistoric
hominids which are by far the oldest in Europe. But it's aimed at adults, especially Spanish-speakers, not so much families.
Burgos celebrates its most famous son - El Cid - and being on the Camino de Santiago de Compostela.

I liked the old town, its plethora of Romanesque churches and the Cathedral. I really liked the museum that was opposite our accommodation in Calle Miranda. For just one euro one can see artifacts from celt-iberian peoples, Greek, Roman and Spanish Medieval. All this is housed in a 15th century residence of a Canon from the Cathedral.
There was some great places to eat. I highly recommend Cerveceria 100 Montitos.
The location was great. 10 minutes walk to the centre of Burgos. The room was good and clean with everything we needed and the bed was very big. But the best thing were the staff, really friendly and helpful. They looked after our luggage when we had checked out so that we could have a final walk around the city. I know that every hotel does that but they were so nice and a credit to the hotel.
I would absolutely stay here again next time we come to Burgos.
The owner, Davide (I hope it`s written like this) is a great character, Very nice and helpful. The bedroom has a good space. The location is good, if you understand that Burgos train station is a bit far from the old city. So, this hostal is near to the train station. If you, like me, hates to take bus or taxi to go to the hotel, Numancia Pension is one of the few options near the train station.
The view from my room facing the cathedral was just amazing - incredibly beautiful! The room was old style but very well maintained. You feel, like you live in another time. The location in the oldtown is also fantastic to reach the highlights of Burgos. The nice lady at the reception gave me some very good tipps about sights and restaurants. The hotel was a real highlight on my trip.
Location was very good, close to main Burgos bus station and city centre and cathedral. Staff at reception couldn't be more pleasant and helpful. The overall look of the hotel on entry was quirky, quite old fashioned and all the better for that. Overall, a comfortable little gem at a reasonable price. Happy all round with my stay. Would recommend to fellow travellers.
This must be the best location in Burgos. Its a beautiful building. See photo below. Outside, the facade is stunning. Underground parking easily accessed right beside the hotel. Very safe and locked. Parking space in front of the hotel to pull in initially and for taxis. Our bedroom was large and very comfortable. The staff at reception were remarkably helpful.
Good location for exploring the beautiful city of Burgos. However, the hotel is florescent, rather basic / no frills for the money and the rooms are stark. Breakfast was also on the modest / average side. Staff were the exception and all worked very hard and gave super customer service.
Location couldn’t be better, right behind the Plaza Mayor and quite close to the cathedral. Very central, lots of restaurants and shops nearby.
Simple breakfast but I loved the toast and the best coffee I’ve ever had at a hotel breakfast.
The receptionist was very helpful and found us a quiet room, the room was clean and a good size. The bed was comfortable. The hotel was in a good position to see the sights of Burgos.
