Our second visit here and still a great place to stay. The history of the hacienda makes it very interesting, but at the same time is very comfortable. However, the welcome and friendly service from the staff are brilliant. We ate in the bar and the restaurant, both very good!

The hotel is in a small village with a beautiful church at its centre just a few miles outside Salamanca. There are only a few rooms and the place is run by Martin and his partner who also man the kitchen to make your dinner. Martin is a lovely man who now’s how to welcome and look after people as well as cook for them. We had a wonderful meal of a light soup and roasted beef rib and pork with excellent olive oil and wine from the village. Our dogs were welcome and Martin was delighted to see them.
