We've spent a lovely overnight in Fiumicino waiting for an early morning flight! Room was nicely decorated, warm and clean, beds comfortable. Breakfast corner is one love! Our son was extremely impressed, as he found all his favourite cookies there :) Very friendly and caring host, extremely good-natured, thanks a lot!

Sophia’s B and B is a perfect place for an overnight stay on arrival to Rome airport or prior to a flight. Located in the town of Fiumicino, the room had everything you need for a comfortable stay. It is nicely decorated with a comfortable bed, reliable WiFi and great bathroom. The instructions for self check-in was clear and concise. Sophia provides an ample Italian breakfast in the morning between 7-10 AM. We were able to walk to a restaurant upon arrival which was helpful. My suggestion on transportation…just use the FCO taxi to and from the airport. It is easier than trying to take the infrequent bus service. The cost for us was 20 Euro each way.

Everything was perfect during my stay. Aurora and her Mom even went to the trouble to pick me up to bring me to their guest house. What an absolute treat. The room was so clean and comfortable, it was a real pleasure. No problem with getting a taxi in the morning. Fabulous real Italian restaurant just a short walk away. There is a shared fridge that you can use. The breakfast has both sweet and savory options, and fresh fruit, which is not always the case in Italy, in my experience. The hosts are what make it an exceptional place to stay. They made sure we had everything we needed, arranging transport to the airport, even ironing some clothes and making sandwiches for us for lunch. In short, everything was great, and we would return!

Helpful, accommodating and really nice hosts. The room was very clean and quiet with a great bed. We were tired after 5 weeks traveling in Italy and this was the first real queen bed we encounterd. Slept like babies.

We arrived a bit early for check-in, 11 a.m., but the host graciously let us in. 5 minute drive from metro station that will take you to Colliseum in less than 40 minutes (with 1 change). Room is fairly spacious and clean, with balcony and huge bathroom. Very safe and quiet location.
