Porto Santo Destination ligger i Porto Santo, 4 minuters promenad från Ponta da Calheta Beach, och erbjuder boende med en trädgård, privat parkering och en gemensam lounge. I had an amazing time staying in Porto Santo Destination hostel! It was so calm and quiet, perfect space to wind down and especially during low season you get the ultimate perk of having basically no people at the beaches ;) Sofia the host was super friendly and helpful... couldn't have wished for a better place to stay. Nice kitchen and facilities! Just keep in mind that you have to do groceries etc in the centre, as there's only a small restaurant around (which is cheap and good though). And it's a different island than Madeira itself, not everyone may know this ;)

The Waves Hostel ligger i São Vicente, 1,7 km från Sao Vicente strand, och har en gemensam lounge, rökfria rum, gratis WiFi i alla utrymmen och en terrass. Excellent location, specially for the sunset.

Jaca Hostel Porto da Cruz ligger i Porto da Cruz, en kort bit från Alagoa Beach och 1 minuters promenad från Maiata strand. The location was perfect, the living room was really nice. The pizza night and burger night were perfect for meeting new people. I had to work some days and the wifi was good enough for some video calls. I am very sad that i had to leave.

Modern & Recycled Guest House ligger i Machico, 2 minuters promenad från Praia de São Roque, och erbjuder utsikt över staden. Utöver ett gemensamt kök har detta boende även en terrass. Everything was superb! The location is near the beach, with plenty of nive restaurants nearby. The rooms were big and full of natural light. The common space was well organized, and equipped.

Located in Funchal and with Marina do Funchal reachable within 2 km, FX Pena provides a tour desk, non-smoking rooms, a garden, free WiFi and a terrace. Great hostel with great accommodations. The room was perfect and spacious. The shared bathroom and kitchen are really good and the space outside is really nice for having a drink at the end of the day.

29 Madeira Hostel set in the centre of Funchal, Madeira Island. The property offers budget accommodation in dormitories and private rooms. Fint hostel, bra läge, trevlig personal, välstädat. Skön säng och uppskattat med mörkläggningsgardin för sängen. Jag hyrde parkeringsplats i garage som låg väldigt nära, superbra! Väldigt prisvärt!

Located within a traditional and historical building in Funchal old town, Santa Maria Hostel is a boutique hostel featuring a vintage-style décor. The location of the hostel is very good and central, the hostel is located in one of the bussiest streets full of restaurants, and just a couple of minutes from the sea. The hostel itself is cozy and the kitchen is suitable for cooking. I also was lucky to meet a lot of cool people there! Christina, the manager of the hostel and the receptionist, was the best, really. She was very friendly and helpful ever since I started my trip there, but she also did everything in one “emergency” situation once my and my friend’s flights were cancelled and we didn’t have a place to stay for the extra four nights. Even though theorically the hostel was fully booked, she manage to find a cancellation and gave us a room. She was trully a very caring and helpful person which I was very happy about! The other person in the hostel’s reception was also very nice.

Casa De Cha Prazeres ligger i Prazeres, 25 km från Porto Moniz naturliga havsbad av lavaklippor, och erbjuder boende med en trädgård, gratis privat parkering, en gemensam lounge och en terrass. Helt ok frukost. Trevlig värd
