Staff were so awesome. Very informative and helpful. The room and beds were clean and comfy, bathroom clean and generally clean.

The lake view is very beautiful and romantic, Facility is so great. Service is outstanding. Staff absolutely friendly and helpful. Concierge wants to do the best that they can to support you. Beds are so great. The Shower is so nice that you want to stay in it for as much as you can.

Stoneridge Estate offers 5 star luxury bed and breakfast accommodation and fine dining in a tranquil setting, 15 minutes’ drive from the heart of Queenstown. Our stay at Stoneridge was little short of ideal! The grounds were simply stunning - you take a steep drive up to the resort, passing by vineyards and rose bushes. The buildings have a historic stone and wrought-iron look and truly feel like they have been there for centuries. Walk around the grounds and you might also see the very cute, peaceful chapel. The rooms were, again, stunning, with beautiful views over Lake Hayes. They were spacious and thoughtfully furnished, including the bathrooms which had his and hers sinks. On checking in, we were greeted by their very friendly staff who offered us two glasses of rose and a lovely cheese board. In short, we loved it here - it felt like pure luxury!

Seems very popular with the locals and college students studying at the nearby University of Otago. The dorm rooms are typical bunk bed layouts with budget twin mattresses. The bathrooms were reasonably clean and a decent kitchen area. They have free breakfast, but it is a pretty minimal offering.

Before even the seeing the room, during check in I mentioned in passing I need to figure out a pharmacy or something for my tooth as I was having dental issues, and the receptionist without any prompt wrote down names, phone numbers and addresses of 3 dentist to help me. We were upgraded to a suite which was massive. Only down side we didn’t have time to check out the hot tub but we had a view of it and it looked very nice.
